What to Expect
On Sunday, October 29th, from 12PM to 5PM, The Bazaar will be a day planned with various activities like shopping, admiring local artists’ work, family-friendly fun, and community engagement. Jenny Vickers Chyb, the founder of The Bazaar, shared her enthusiasm for the event and said, “We are so excited to continue our 10-year anniversary celebration of The Bazaar at the Fall Festival at Whitechapel Projects. This will be a Fall Fest you won’t want to miss.” Event-goers can enjoy numerous activities that will be held in a massive sailcloth tent and the cozy interior of the Whitechapel Projects venue.
Throughout The Bazaar’s 10-year-long history, it has been a space for creativity and community. It allows local artists, artisans, and businesses to collaborate and get their work out there in the Jersey Shore community. The Bazaar event will have something for everyone to enjoy by welcoming families and pets alike to participate.
There will be an opportunity to shop in a curated market that highlights artisans’ work who are based in the Jersey Shore and beyond. A wide range of gifts and goods will be available. To bring a taste of camping, Syby Designs will have s’mores kits for guests to indulge in while warming up by a custom tabletop and larger fire bowls which will be available for purchase.
With Halloween taking place this upcoming Tuesday, there will be activities that align with the spooky festivity. Kids are welcome to dress up in costumes and join a face-painting session, trick-or-treat, and other activities that are yet to be announced. There will even be a costume contest for our pets — so, be sure to dress them up in the most unique costume yet to have a chance to win a basket filled with pet goodies.
An interactive sunglasses and bead station, photo opportunities, a permanent jewelry station, a tattoo bar, and live music are just some of the other activities that make up the lineup. Food and drinks will be available on-site for purchase — including fall-themed options. Event-goers will also have the chance to participate in a giveaway. The first 25 shoppers through the door will receive a Bazaar tote bag.
